Chapter Eighteen: Disappearance
In the night, a pair of red eyes glinted, spying on the silhouette of an elk. The brown furred wolf neared closer to it, hoping not to startle the animal, or even worse, for it to pick up his scent.
"Shh..." A wolf spoke from behind, "Be careful."
"Oh, Spectrum," he whispered back, "I'm one of the finest hunters, of course I'm careful..."
She looked at him with a unsure glance, but Xavier shrugged and whispered sheepishly, "I'll go for the throat."
He crept up to the elk; and when he was just a few feet away, he leaped into it's throat. With angry bites and snarls, he injected his poisonous fangs into the elk, killing it quickly. It's hooves collapsed underneath it, it fell with a thump.
"Good catch," she said, "But it was foolish to use your venomous bite. We will have to cut out the flesh you poiso

Chapter Seventeen: A Prophecy Revealed
Lead by a black she-wolf, a group of wolves wandered the snowy grounds, looking for a group of wolves to oppose and rise against her sister's soldiers. Their limbs were tired and sore, their paws were shaking. But the she-wolf said to remain strong, to keep on going.

EasterRemember what you love,
you with sand in your teeth
and the feral burn of hunger
in your eyes.
God sends his regrets.
He made you grasping and slow,
in a late hour
when the wine washed low.
Remember what you love.
Fall to your knees in the toss
and the swell, quell
the appetite of the cold black sea.
Beg blessings for your home
and the salt-sick trees.
Reach what lies near:
the fat-faced child, the sweet-soft lamb;
tether the tantrum, trickle the blood.
Offer psalms to what is holy,
whisper the name of what you love
as it bobs in the bleak mad sea.
